Results Interpretation
The solver calculates the reaction load at each fastener required to equilibrate the applied loads.
Reaction Components
For each fastener, the following components are provided:
- PX, PY, PZ: The reaction force vector components.
- Shear Resultants: In-plane shear combinations (XY Shear, XZ Shear, YZ Shear).
- Total Resultant Load: The vector magnitude of the reaction load (√(PX² + PY² + PZ²)). This is typically compared against the fastener's ultimate allowable load.
Group Properties
- Group Centroid: The calculated center of stiffness of the bolt pattern.
- Total Applied Forces: The summation of all applied loads, resolved about the global origin (0,0,0).
